Joe has always had a passion for the world of Real Estate. He began his career in 1991 as a Commercial Broker in what is arguably one of the most competitive, cutthroat markets in the country – Manhattan. Soon afterwards, he expanded his career to Wall Street and began purchasing Investment Properties of his own.
After two decades as an Advisor, he had accumulated dozens of rental properties and eventually realized that managing them wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be. He thought “There had to be a better way.”
Upon discovering the DST, he quickly realized that many others were probably experiencing the same tenant headaches as he was, but they likely had no idea that there was a passive 1031 alternative to Property Management. This changed Joe’s career path, and today he specializes in bringing this powerful option to those who are equally unhappy with “landlording,” and would prefer to enjoy their retirements while the professionals managed their RE portfolios for them.
Joe obtained a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University, and currently holds FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses, as well as New York Life and Health Insurance certifications.
Doug joins the firm with a background in Alternative Investments, Wealth Management & Insurance Solutions. Before Joining IREXA he worked as a wholesaler for Cantor Fitzgerald where he provided the marketplace with Non-traded REITs, DSTs & Opportunity Zones. For the first time in his financial services career he came across an investment solution that he is truly passionate about, DSTs. This turnkey solution is an incredible opportunity for investors who may not have the time, energy or real estate expertise to find and/or manage a replacement property.
Doug received his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and holds FINRA licenses Series 7, 63, 65 & 24. He currently resides in Newport Beach, CA with his beautiful fiancée, Pegah.
